Alsyvox was created by Daniele Coen, an Italian aerospace engineer, and Paola, an Italian interior designer. The engineering is Italian; the speakers are built in Valencia, Spain.
They make loudspeakers the difficult way: no cone woofer, no dome tweeter, no horn-loaded midrange, and no box — neither sealed nor ported. Every panel is a full-range ribbon and ribbon-planar dipole, radiating from both sides as a line source.
The diaphragm moves like a layer of air as the sound wave crosses it. That is where the transparency comes from: the music stops sounding like it is coming from the speakers and starts filling the room.
The makers
An aerospace engineer and an interior designer. Between them the panels are engineered like aircraft structures and finished like furniture — which is why they can stand in a living room without an argument.

Entry to the range
The smallest Alsyvox, and the only thing small about it is the panel. Every driver and material is shared with the larger models, scaled for rooms of roughly 15 to 50 square metres.
The bestseller
The middle of the range and the one most people end up with. In medio stat virtus: the balance point of the family, and the model that answers most rooms.

Four-way, made to order
A full four-way ribbon system: ribbon woofer, two ribbon midranges, ribbon tweeter and super-tweeter. Built to order, with optional dedicated subwoofer panels for larger rooms.

Symmetrical, made to order
A symmetrical array — twin woofers and twin mid-tweeters either side of a central super-tweeter. The layout improves how the speaker talks to the room walls, and sharpens the image.
Flagship
Three panels per channel and over a third of a tonne per side. Alsyvox put its dynamics, sensitivity and resolution about 3 dB above everything else they build.
Recognition
X and XX
Most models can be upgraded to X or XX specification — external passive crossovers using a different topology and higher-grade components, supplied with the cables between speaker and crossover.
It is the least glamorous upgrade path in high-end audio and one of the most effective — worth hearing back to back before you decide.
March 2024
In March 2024 Daniele and Paola travelled to Australia to visit Zen Audio as their new authorised Alsyvox dealer. A presentation in Brisbane on 15 March drew 25 enthusiasts for more than three hours of listening — and Alsyvox singled out the dedicated demo room at Zen Audio, running the Botticelli X.
